Location. Overlooking Newport Harbor, directly across from the renowned harbor and waterfront restaurants on Bowen's Wharf, the Inn on Long Wharf is located in Newport, R.I. The resort is convenient to area attractions including the Newport Art Museum and the International Tennis Hall of Fame, both under one mile from the property. Spring Street, the main thoroughfare of the Historic Hill district is also less than one mile from the property. The district is home to the "cottages", summer mansions constructed by the extremely wealthy during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
