Located in a year round vacation destination, the resort offers rustic cedar log units in a quiet, remote country setting. Being on the top of a hill, the views are beautiful of Mt. Katahdin and the surrounding areas. Each unit has a view of Maine's mountainous countryside. There is an on site clubhouse with a heated pool, hot tub, sauna, game room, and weight room. Outside the clubhouse, you will find a tennis court, volleyball net, basketball hoop, horseshoe pits, barbecue grills, a picnic area on Pleasant Pond, and a brand new playground. In the winter, a snowmobile trail runs right by the resort. Hike, bike, and mountain climb in Baxter State Park. Vacationland Estates offers guests one and two bedroom suites, each has a view of the countryside and Mt. Katahdin. Units are tastefully equipped with cable television, VCR, refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, telephone, pots and pans, coffee maker, and toaster. Popcorn popper, blender, iron, ironing board, crib, and highchair are available upon request.
