Location. Oak Plantation Resort in Kissimmee, Fla., is nestled in a seclude hammock of oak trees just six miles from Walt Disney World. The nearest family attractions include Jungleland Zoo, a seven acre zoo with a swan filled lagoon, and Medieval Times, each just one mile from the resort. Features. Oak Plantation Resort is a gated community with a collection of buildings stretching across 16 acres. Resembling a village of country houses, the resort offers 15 cottage style buildings surrounded by winding stands of oak trees in a park like setting. A picnic are with grills is provided, and recreational amenities include tennis and basketball courts, a fitness center, and a pool complex with two climate controlled lagoon style pools and a 12 person hot tub.
